I’ve had the idea for WAHM Study for a long time but just never seemed to get around to getting it going. I’ve worked from home since before my children were born. I started working for a major corporation as a home based employee and eventually started my own Internet business. When I started out, I made less than $50 a month off of my websites. Now I make more than I did in corporate America.
I worked through two pregnancies, the baby years, the toddler years, and am now entering the school years. I tried no childcare, daycare, part-time daycare, even a nanny. Our family went through many different phases and each had its ups and downs.
I’m fascinated by Work At Home Moms because there are so many facets to us. Why do we do it? How do we balance it? What do we enjoy and not enjoy about it? Will we continue to work from home when our children are grown and gone?
I invite you to join me in this journey of sharing and learning more about ourselves. From time to time, I will feature “guest speakers”. In addition, I will put up polls to get us all thinking about what we do and how we do it.
